sevmedia was asked to create a website that would be expandable into an online retail store in the future, but at the moment, would allow visitors to peruse the inventory of Rug Chic - for over 15 years, the primary source in the greater New Orleans area for interior designers and the public with the finest hand-knotted rugs, furniture, and home decor. Their inventory was unique---one-of-a-kind rugs, Italian wood pieces, upholstered and slipcovered furniture that can be completely customized, and local artwork.
Recently, their decision to activate e-commerce required sevmedia to re-assess the web hosting platform, and ultimately the decision was made to port the site over to Shopify, retaining as much of the original site’s look and feel as possible. sevmedia has assisted with inventory creation and trained staff to update and maintain this robust site.
